Engaging and mobilizing communities in support of park equity through digital storytelling

THE STORY
Today 100 million people - including 28 million kids - don't have a park within a  10-minute walk of home. The Trust for Public Land is working to change that and we need your help. Because #ParksUniteUs, and it is on US to unite for parks. Help us raise $100,000 to create more parks, for more people, in more places.

MY ROLE
I designed and produced a variety of creative assets to support the campaign. Building upon the established visual identity, I designed and produced animated videos and GIFs to further amplify the campaign across digital platforms.

Coogan Farm’s Giving Garden
I created an animated video to tell the story of Coogan Farm in southern Connecticut, a community space preserved through a $4 million effort by Trust for Public Land and the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center. The video highlights the farm’s 2-acre “giving garden,” which supplies fresh produce to local food pantries.

I designed and produced the animation using custom vector illustrations, photo cutouts, and source imagery to craft an engaging visual narrative.

Launch Video
To kick off the campaign, I produced and animated the launch video. Simple yet effective transitions, combined with bold colors, help set the tone and bring the Parks Unite Us message of community and connection to life, getting people excited to support the cause.

Instagram Stickers
I designed and produced a custom set of branded GIFs for Instagram, allowing users to personalize their park photos by adding playful animations to their stories. This interactive element provides a fun, shareable way for people to connect with the campaign.
